UKCC Level 3 Course at Nottingham University

UKCC Level 3 candidates attending technical weekend at Nottingham University. 6/7 th January 2018. Aled Howell (TTE Coaching Director), Simon Mills (Head of Performance) and Alan Cook (TTE Men’s Coach) presented different coaching methods to candidates from all over UK. The candidates were from different countries – Trinidad, Portugal, Wales, Scotland, England, Prague.

Out of the 12 selected candidates, two were selected from Scotland – Senga Thomson and Philip McCallum. The course finishes in October when the candidates will have completed 8 months of coaching and analysed their coaching philosophy. Paul Rawlings-Jackson also attended to observe and discuss the new UKCC awards being developed from later this year. The resources will be more interactive and suited to club coaches in the UK. The new awards will probably be launched for season 2018/19.
