SNL 2023/24 Week 2 – Change of Venue and Date

Dear Club Secretary,

We have been given notice that Bell’s will be unavailable for the foreseeable future, due to flooding in the hall earlier this month.
We have been working as quickly as we can to arrange alternative venues to host such a large event. Unfortunately, we cannot find anything suitable on the scheduled date, Saturday 4th November. However, Sunday 5 November is available at the sportscotland National Sports Centre, Inverclyde, Largs and St Matthew’s Academy, Saltcoats, the home of North Ayrshire Table Tennis Club.

So the plan is:

Divisions 1, 2 and 3 at St Matthew’s.
Divisions 4, 5 and 6 at Inverclyde, Largs.

As we are playing three rounds of fixtures we plan to have a few extra tables at each venue to help speed up any slow matches. Please note therefore you may be asked to play on additional tables so we can finish by 6pm.

8:30am: doors open
9:30am: start

We fully appreciate the added mileage involved for those teams from the North of Scotland. However,
given these exceptional circumstances we have no option but to ask you all to travel to Ayrshire.

Can you please confirm by Sunday 29th October of your availability to play on Sunday 5 November.
