Scottish Senior Schools Championships 2025

The Scottish Senior Schools Championships take place this Sunday 9 March 2025 at Bathgate Academy with 80 youngsters from all over Scotland vying for honours in the six events and hoping to qualify to represent Scotland at the British Schools Championships which are to be held in Jersey at the end of June.

Most of the top ranked players will be in action with ASV Academy’s Dean Robertson and Kiishi Adekola favourites in the U14 events while Joe Mulhern and Maja Wojcicka, both champions last year, will be hoping for further success in the U16’s.  In the U18’s, Daniel Tibbetts and Megan Mulhern are top seeds with Robbie Martin, Allan He, Tony Chim and Lucy Mitra likely to be challenging for honours.  Consolation singles will be held for all events so players will have plenty of games on the day.

Play starts at 10am sharp in all events other than the Under 16 and Under 18 Girls combined group, which will hopefully start before 11am, so please arrive early if you wish a practice before matches get underway. Good luck to all competitors!
