Scottish Parkinson’s Contingent Shines at ITTF World Parkinson’s Table Tennis Championships in France
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Scottish Parkinson’s contingent for their outstanding performance at the recent ITTF World Parkinson’s Table Tennis Championships in France.
Steve Morley, known as the “Ayrshire Tiger”, clinched a remarkable gold medal in the Mixed Doubles event alongside his partner, Agnes Jan from Austria. Steve shared his experience at the championships in a recent blog post, which can be found here.
In addition, Brian Carson brought home a silver medal in the Men’s Singles. Joy Paul also made a significant impact, securing a bronze medal in the Ladies Doubles alongside her partner, Andrea Müllner from Germany.
Their achievements serve as an inspiration to others in the Parkinson’s community and beyond. Well done to all!
