National event calendar

Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff at TTS I wish you all a Very Happy New Year!

As we reach the halfway point of the season, I would like to draw your attention to the unavoidable changes to our National Event Calendar for the remainder of the season due to the serious damage caused by flooding and the subsequent closure of the main hall at Bells Sport Centre. We are in regular contact with the management at Bells and will share with you, as soon as we have it, information regarding replacement of the floor, general repairs and a schedule for reopening.

Entries close on the 15th January:

February 3 National Primary Schools Championships, Bathgate Academy
Entries close on 26^th January

February 4 Scottish National League Day 3, St Matthews Academy, Saltcoats
NB Divisions 1,4,6 only

March 2 Senior National Championships, Inverclyde National Sports Centre, Largs

March 3 Junior, Cadet National Championships, Inverclyde National Sports Centre, Largs
(entry forms available early January 2024)

March 9 Scottish National League Day 3, Bathgate Academy
NB Divisions 2,3,5 only 

March 31 National Secondary Schools Championships, Bathgate Academy

Please note, we are still working to find a suitable venue for the Inter League Event originally scheduled for 16/17 March 2024.

Finally, on your behalf I would like to wish our Administrator, Alison, who is the power behind the info@tabletennisscotland email address, a speedy and successful recovery from her recent appendix operation and subsequent infection!!!  We hope to see Alison back to work on reduced hours in the New Year. Get well soon Alison from everyone involved in the table tennis community.
