Hard fought titles at 1st Scottish Open Disability Event
After a hard day of table tennis the 6 titles being contested for were awarded.
Wheelchair Winner – Connor McGeorge (D&G)
Runner up – David Denholm (D&G)
L.D Winner – Iona McLean (Drumchapel)
Runner up – Lewis Potter (D&G)
Physical standing Winner – Martin Perry (Drumchapel)
Runner up – Ryan Henry (North Ayrshire)
Band 1 Winner – Connor McGeorge (D&G)
Runner up – Heather McColm (D&G)
Ladies singles winner – Iona McLean (Drumchapel)
Runner up – Heather McColm (D&G)
Mens singles winner – Ryan Henry (North Ayrshire)
Runner up – Martin Perry (Drumchapel)
Thanks to Dumfries & Galloway Councillor Jeff Leaver head of Children Young People and Lifelong Learning (CYPLL) for presenting the prizes. Also thanks to D&G Active Schools and Community Sports, Table Tennis Scotland, D&G disability sport, Dumfries Table Tennis Club, South of Scotland Table Tennis Development and Teesport for their contributions to making this a successful event and of course last but not least thanks to all who competed and we look forward to the event next year which will be on a rolling annual programme and will be held in Glasgow 2020
