Drumchapel TTC Delivers Strong Results at Cleveland Junior 4*
Drumchapel Table Tennis Club recorded a series of strong performances at the Cleveland Junior 4* event, achieving success in both team and individual competitions. In the Cadet Girls’ team event, Kiishi Adekola and Alexandra Hart won gold, defeating Scarborough 3–0, while the Junior Boys’ team of Joe Mulhern and Ben Hart secured gold with a 3–2 victory over Ellenborough.
In the singles, Joe Mulhern claimed the Under-17 Boys title with a 3–1 win over Kai Lun Chow of Archway Peterborough. Kiishi Adekola finished runner-up in the Under-17 Girls Singles, losing 3–1 to Hannah Saunders of Grantham. Other notable results included Ben Hart and Rory Thomson reaching the Junior Boys’ Singles quarterfinals, Joe Mulhern advancing to the semifinals, Alexandra Hart reaching the Cadet Girls’ Singles semifinals, and the Junior Girls’ team of Megan Mulhern and Amelia Smolarek placing fourth.
