Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation

CTTF, Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation, today announced entering into an agreement with ITTF,
International Table Tennis Federation, to serve towards the development of table tennis in the Commonwealth
nations.
Under the terms of the agreement, ITTF will introduce ranking points to the Commonwealth events and help
promote the events at an international level. Over the course of time, ITTF will provide funding to help the organisation run professionally in a progressive manner. CTTF will also provide some rights to ITTF so as to work in cooperation to make table tennis a better and bigger sport.
This is the first time ever that the CTTF and ITTF have collaborated to reach an social working agreement. Mr. Vivek Kohli, the newly elected Chairman of the CTTF has big plans for the federation and he hopes that this agreement commences the development of the sport in 71 Commonwealth nations. “I am extremely excited with the
agreement with ITTF and highly thankful to the ITTF leadership for recognising the importance of the sport and it’s future in the Commonwealth nations. With this agreement, we can progress more professionally and at a much
faster pace” he said.
