Salary – Circa £28,000 pa (two- year fixed term, with intention to renew)
It is an exciting time for table tennis in Scotland and as part of the continued development of the organisation, Table Tennis Scotland (TTS) is seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to take on the role of:
Community Table Tennis Project Manager
This new position will work closely with our two newly appointed Regional Pathway Managers, the Board of Directors and the Chief Operating Officer to drive the development of table tennis throughout Scotland and to achieve the objectives set out in the new TTS Strategic Plan, 2023-27. More specifically, the role will drive and expand our innovative work on Pop in and Play venues, Table tennis in the Workplace, Nifty Fifty Evergreen Sessions, Dementia and Parkinson’s Friendly Table Tennis and Island Table Tennis.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sports development or a related discipline and experience of managing projects within budget and working with people in the voluntary sector. Knowledge of table tennis and the current Scottish sporting landscape would be advantageous.
This is a full-time post supported by sportscotland, with an office base in the TTS office at Caledonia House, Edinburgh. The post holder will be expected to travel as required, throughout Scotland. The successful candidate will have access to comprehensive training and support for professional development.
