TTS Banded Event to Run Alongside Primary School Championships

With plenty of space available at Dundee International Sports Centre (DISC), Table Tennis Scotland will run a Banded Event alongside the Scottish Primary School Championships on Sunday 22 November 2026, providing an additional opportunity for members to compete.

Table Tennis Scotland Banded Event

The Banded Event is open to adults and juniors who hold a current competitive membership of Table Tennis Scotland, offering players the chance to compete against others of a similar standard.

Entries are initially limited to 32 players, divided into four bands of eight, with Ratings Central used to determine band allocations. Each band will play a round robin, providing seven scheduled matches per player when bands are full.

If there is sufficient demand and lower entry numbers for the Primary School Championships allow additional hall space to be used, more places may become available.

Play starts at 10am, with practice available from 9am.

Players competing in the Primary School Championships cannot enter the Banded Event, as both competitions run at the same time.

Scottish Primary School Championships

The Scottish Primary School Championships will also take place at DISC on Sunday 22 November, starting at 10am. The competition is open to players who were under 12 on 1 September 2026. Players do not need to attend primary school, provided they meet the age requirement.

The top four boys and top four girls may be invited to represent Scotland at the Primary School International Championships.

Entries for the Primary School Championships close at 10am on Sunday 15 November.
