Secondary Schools International – Galway 2023

This year’s Secondary Schools International took place in Galway, Ireland. Seven countries being England, Wales, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Scotland all travelled over to battle it out on the table to see who can be the victors.

The Scottish players did fantastic coming home with 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals throughout the main event with many more in the shield competitions. Full results and pictures below.

This is a massive improvement from last year and all the players should be very proud of their performances. We would like to thank everyone involved in making this trip happen and run so smoothly. This was a fantastic opportunity for our young athletes and we hope this event will motivate them to keep developing and raise the standard in Scotland.
