New Pop in and Play opens in East Kilbride

Friday 22nd May saw the opening of the new Pop in and Play at the East Kilbride Shopping Centre. Leader of South Lanarkshire Council Joe Fagan MSP (Labour) and Collette Stevenson MSP (SNP) were on hand to officially open the unit with cross party support for Brendan Faulds and his team.

Brendan said;
“Since opening in 2023, we’ve welcomed an amazing 14,089 visitors through our doors – averaging 17 visitors every single day. Since moving into our new venue on April 20th, that number has already grown to an average of 20 people per day, showing just how valued this space has become within the community.”

“None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, with around 20 people giving their time and support each week to help make Pop In & Play such a welcoming and positive environment for everyone involved.”
