Our New Safeguarding Lead: Judy Rogers

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Judy Rogers as the new TTS Safeguarding Lead.

At TTS, the safety, well-being, and protection of our community are among our highest priorities. Judy will build on the excellent work carried out for many years by one of our outstanding volunteers, Senga Thomson, who resigned in July.

Having held the post of National Safeguarding and Disciplinary Manager for Table Tennis England for 27 years, Judy joins us with a proven track record in safeguarding governance, bringing invaluable experience, deep expertise, and a compassionate approach to this vitally important area of work.

About Judy
Judy has dedicated her career to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive environments. In her new role, she will oversee all safeguarding policies, lead our protective strategies, and serve as the primary point of contact for any safeguarding matters. Her focus will be on strengthening our existing frameworks and ensuring that best practices are embedded across all TTS initiatives.

I am thrilled to join TTS as Safeguarding Lead. Creating an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and heard is essential for any community to thrive. I look forward to working closely with the entire TTS team and community to uphold and elevate our commitment to safety.

What this means for our community
Judy will be reviewing our current procedures, facilitating training, and ensuring our reporting lines remain clear, accessible, and robust.

Please join us in giving Judy a very warm welcome to the TTS family!
