Open Banded Mixed Singles and Open Mixed Singles events at Ward Road Gym in Dundee, August 8th/9th 2026.
 
Dundee and District Table Tennis Association is pleased to announce that the Dundee Summer Smash tournaments will be returning for it’s 2nd year to the TTS calendar!
The events will take place at Ward Road Gym, in the heart of the city.

On Saturday August 8th we will hold an Open Banded Mixed Singles event for which the maximum field will be 27 players (3 bands played on a total of 6 tables). There will be trophies for band winners and prize money for winner and runner up in the top band.

On Sunday August 9th we will hold our Open Mixed Singles & Open Mixed Consolation Singles tournament in the same venue. For this event the maximum field will be 30 players, with 6 groups of 5 players followed by a Round of 16 assuming a full entry. There will be a Consolation Singles tournament for competitors who do not reach the Round of 16, therefore guaranteeing every player a decent amount of matches.

We will have a big trophy for the winner of the main event and keepsakes for winner, runner-up and winner of the consolation event.
