Scottish Senior Schools – Sunday 31 March 2024

The final TTS event of the season, the Scottish Senior Schools Championships, takes place this Sunday 31 March 2024 at Bathgate Academy. With just under 80 entrants from all over Scotland vying for honours in the six events, competition is sure to be fierce and the top four in each event may also have the opportunity to represent Scotland at the British Schools Championships taking place in June in the Isle of Man.

The Under 14 boys looks particularly interesting with a host of talented youngsters hoping to get the better of top seed Joe Mulhern. Elsewhere Nichole Lee (U14 girls), Daniel Tibbetts (U16 boys), Maja Wojcicka (U16 girls), Gavin Yuan (U18 boys) and Amelia Smolarek (U18 girls) are favourites to take the titles in their respective events. Consolation singles will be held for all events so players will have plenty of games on the day.

Play starts at 10am sharp in all events so please arrive early if you wish a practice before matches get underway. Good luck to all competitors!
